What can the NHS learn from Housing Associations on Community Development?

The third of our series of events looking at how the NHS can learn from housing. This session focuses on community development.

Through their community investment work, housing associations have used community development techniques to work alongside communities to help them thrive. As NHS providers and Integrated Care Systems develop their Anchor Institution approaches and programmes, they will want to ensure that their programmes are informed by, connected to and in some circumstances led by local people. They will need to adopt community development approaches, techniques and skills, and this webinar will explore how best to achieve this.

Chair: Andrew van Doorn, Chief Executive of HACT and NED at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
Key Speaker: Sahil Khan, Director of Community Investment at Catalyst Housing and Chair of Catalyst Housing Charitable Trust.
